Coachella 2012

If I had a list of things to do before I’m 30…..going to Coachella would be one of them!  Look how amazing all these people look. Denim, Maxi Dresses, BIG hats and Leopard print seemed to be a massive hit!!

You may not know, but I love a festival.  Looking at these pictures from Coachella has got me all bloody excited for the summer time.

Unfortunately, Glastonbury (the only festival worth going to in the UK) is not on this summer….I can’t believe it! I have been for the last 3 years and could not thing of any other festival I would rather go to.  Seriously – it is Amazing! 

Basically, I could not spend a whole summer in the UK without going to a festival….so I have managed to secure tickets for The Secret Garden Party and Eastern Electrics

Taking inspiration from the ‘fashion’ seen at Coachella, I think I have my outfits sorted!

'Oh my Blog'

Oh my blog – I cant believe it…

Christian Louboutin has only gone and launched a UK website for all of us lovely people….Halleluja! Now we can purchase these from the comfort of our own home.  I have no idea why this was not done sooner.

Among other things on my ‘Fashion Wishlist’, I do plan to invest in a pair of ‘Lou Bous’….afterall every girl deserves to have a pair in their wardrobe…right?

I know there not cheap, but with a little help from the ‘BF’ (Hint Hint), I plan to be the owner of these bad boys….Hmm. I just can’t decide on the colour – Nude or Black?? Help!

H+M 'Glamour Conscious Collection'

Behold H+M’s exclusive 2012 Conscious Collection….

H+M have recently announced they will be launching their ‘Exclusive Glamour Conscious Collection’ across some of their stores….and it lands tomorrow people!! (12^th April 2012). It feels like yesterday we were all going MAD for MARNI!

The whole collection is made from sustainable materials, including organic cotton and recycled polyester.  ‘Fashion with a conscience’ – Well I never!

I am desperate to get my hands on this blue tuxedo blazer and shorts – How hot does Amanda Seyfried look?  I have heard a few looks will be sold online, so the P.O.A is to get up super early tomorrow and try to shop online....my fingers and toes are crossed!

Basically, H+M have pulled it out the bag again…who wouldn’t want ‘red carpet’ looks on a budget?

Chamonix 2012

Skiing is a past time I’ve always associated with the upper echelons of society so when my sister arranged this big family trip (13 of us in total) I jumped at the chance to give it a go!

Now with a group this big, like every trip in my life it has to be run like a military operation, the D Day landings have nothing on getting the Marstons to the airport on time. So after spending far too much time in the bar we were a matter of minutes from missing our flight! ‘Final Call for the Marstons’ is not what you want to be hearing when you’re onto your 3^rd GnT!

When we left the UK it was so hot, the legs had been shaved and the jean shorts were out so the thought of going to sub freezing conditions at the top of a mountain was not appealing. This was not a problem it seems as when we were all wrapped in thermals, jackets and hats the temperature was 27 degrees! There’s nothing quite like coming off the mountain with 3 layers on to see a topless man laying next to the ski lift with a can of beer – SUN BATHING!

As a complete beginner I thought my more advanced sisters would take me down the nursery slope a few times to find my feet -  but no. We began skiing down a slight hill to which I shout ‘this is easy’. Then I get round the bend to see the BIGGEST, STEEPEST slope at which point I could have cried!

There’s nothing quite like learning by doing so after an hour of falling over and fearing for my life I managed to make it down to the bottom – just in time for lunch!
