Mink Pink - Crochet

It's such a shame that I have no more festivals to go to this summer…("Big Sigh") but that doesn't mean I can't wear crochet…right? Right.  I had been eyeing up this Mink Pink crochet top for a very long time, but I just didn't have £95 to buy it…..until last week. Mink Pink is by far one of my favourite designers, and my number one place to head when i'm looking for that festival / boho vibe! I could probably list about 4 or 5 Mink Pink items that are on my current 'wish list'.  Back to the top…..It's made 'from an open weave crochet', has a slouchy cut with a laid-back, vintage style……perfect. Buy HERE

I have some great news.  In 2 weeks I will become the proud owner of a French bulldog!! Ahhh!  After months and months of discussing such a BIG commitment, we decided to go for it, and put down a deposit. We already have the name sorted….but i'll keep that a surprise!

From now on, every time I get a new outfit…...the dog get's one too!

Mapping Hell!!

Well, how delightful is this weather? Apparently, we haven’t had a summer like this in London for 7 years..….7 BLOODY YEARS!!!!  No wonder we all go crazy when the sun comes out.

I wanted to show you this ‘map’ printed dress I bought from Topshop (£55). The design is so beautiful, and it’s made from the softest material….It could almost pass for real ‘silk’.  After buying this dress I realised they sold it in the shirt version too! It has exactly the same design with a contrasting white collar. If you’re looking for the ‘purse friendly’ option, then I suggest buying the shirt, as it’s only £35. Take a look at both HERE

I don’t know about you but I have a severe lack of tops / shirts / cardigans in my wardrobe! Whenever I go shopping I find it more exciting to buy a nice new dress, a skirt, or pair of shorts.  I’ve told myself that when pay day arrives, I can go shopping… BUT I must invest in items that cover my top half!

Anyways, I'll have to love you and leave you. Off to Lovebox festival :-)

Time of the Season

Well, after a few weeks where I fell well and truly off the blogging radar, I'm back.  The Shanta Love Club is blamed for my lack of contact over the past few weeks.....It really did take it out of me.  I decided to celebrate my comeback by sharing with you some amazing items I have added to my growing collection.

Firstly, my favourite people at Rat&Boa have only pulled it out the bag...AGAIN, with this amazing white crochet dress.  I can't stress enough how much I love there stuff. They had a re-stock over the weekend so I ordered the Witchcraft Cardigan straight away. I'm very excited for it's arrival.  The suede, tassled jacket is rather special too and was taken from my sisters wardrobe.  I had been eyeing it up for about a year so I offered her £20 for it.  She said yes and now it lives in my wardrobe.  In my eyes it's the perfect festival jacket.

I would like to draw your attention to the backpack. I bought this last week in Portugal for €5 which is about £4. I'm kicking myself now that I didn't buy it in every colour!  When it comes to backpacks the best thing is that they go with absolutely anything and if they don't...who cares?  There easy to wear and complete any look. Lastly, these boots are from another favourite of mine....Miista.  Yesterday morning, I headed over to London Fields for their sample sale.  These boots cost around £150 on the website, but they were selling them for £30.  I couldn't believe it, so I ended up walking out with 4 different pairs, including the 'Nia' gold boots which sell for £175.  Take a look on my Instagram....there grrrreat!

It's 24 days till Glastonbury.....not that I'm counting or anything.  Could this be outfit number one? What do you think?

Crochet Cardigan

I’m going to keep it ‘short but sweet’….a bit like me! PAH

Is this not the most perfect crochet cardigan?  I bought it from my favourite online shop Rat&Boa for about £30.  Seriously, I love everything on their website. In my eyes, anything crochet is perfect for a festival. Its super chic and gives off that laid back, boho vibe! Perfect.

I’m off to Shaka Zulu in Camden on Friday. Surely it’s nice to venture out of ‘east’ London once in a while?

Vintage - Ombre Cardigan

There’s something really cool about vintage fashion.  Unlike trends that come and go, vintage will stay around forever.  A few weeks ago I was having a look on eBay, and came across this vintage ‘ombre’ cardigan.  I was over the moon to see that no one was ‘watching’ it so I decided to start my bidding war at 99p! A few hours later, and £5.50 down, it was mine.  When wearing vintage there are no rules…..anything goes, which suits my style down to a T!

In a few weeks….the 5th may to be precise, my friend is putting on a festival just outside London.  The theme is ‘Indian summer’ so any great ideas on what to wear, please send them my way.  I’m thinking bindis, sequins, and ganesh….hmmmm!

I decided to ‘spice’ this post up and share with you that one song I've been listening to over and over and over again.  If this doesn't get you excited for summer then nothing will. Enjoy.
