LEOPARD

Leopard Shirt - Romwe.com
My Nephew Will
Hi Guys,

I hope you are all well?

I can’t believe the weather we are having in London at the moment….I Love the Sunshine!! I can finally start to think about Festivals, BBQ’s and day time parties in the sun….Waaahooooooo

I just wanted to share with you this new Leopard print shirt I bought…..How cool is this? I found it on ROMWE.  I have never bought anything from this website before as it is based in the USA (I think), but I have heard so many people rave on about it.  I though I would take a look, and guess what…..i bought something within 10 minutes….!  It cost me approx £25 with free delivery…Amazing deals!! Make sure you check the website out.

Anyway, on Sunday I was on babysitting duty for my sister….as the weather was so nice, and the sun was shining, I took my nephew over South Wield Park to feed the ducks….How cute is he by the way!?

I am off to Chamonix this weekend, for some fun in the snow….I am a ‘ski virgin’, so god knows how this is going to go….Is it possible to look cool whilst throwing yourself off the side of a mountain?

Fingers crossed I don’t break a leg.

Plenty of photos to follow.

Bill Cunningham New York

Bill Cunningham

Bill Cunningham - New York Times - 18th March 2012

So, I went to see the film ‘Bill Cunningham New York’ last night at the Curzon Mayfair Cinema here in sunny London…..(God, doesn’t my BF spoil me!!)
For those of you that have never heard of Cunningham he is an unconventional fashion photographer who has been documenting ‘street styles’ in New York for the past 50 years. He is loved by the great and good of fashion.  In a world that’s all consumed by celebrities and their ‘status’, he is not concerned about who is wearing what but what is being worn by you and me on the street!  He has a passion for fashion that I’ve never seen before, and will pick up trends months in advance.
I knew very little about him before this film but he has really inspired me to look beyond the glossy mags and catwalks to see what’s ‘fashionable’ and look around me; on the train, going to work or people out partying to get a real gage on what’s stylish!
Basically, this is a really heartfelt, feel good film that documents the life of a true visionary – you MUST go see it people!

‘All things girlie’ – Will you or Wont you?

Louis Vuitton Spring 2012

Christopher Kane Spring 2012

Erdem Spring 2012

Looking at these S/S 2012 collections, I think it is fair to say, that we should be embracing anything ‘girly’ this spring....but will you or won’t you?

I have never been a ‘girly girl’.  I remember girls at my Infant school who would turn up with pretty pink bows in their hair, play Barbie during lunch, and scream at the sight of mud....well that just wasn’t me! You could usually find me playing football with the boys or attempting to do the Long Jump. My knees would be cut, my hair would be a frizzy mess...but I just didn’t care!

Personally, for me, this trend is too much hard work.  Don’t get me wrong, I love candy coloured clothing and I love wearing pretty dresses (I am an Essex girl after all!), but I would much rather wear something from my boyfriend’s wardrobe....not literally, don’t worry!

Basically the ‘Pjama Pant’, silk shirts, and anything paisley will be right at the top of my shopping list this weekend!

So will you be embracing ‘all things girly’, or running away from anything ‘frilly’ and ‘cute’?

Candy Floss II

1.

2.
3.

Hi All,

As promised, I wanted to share with you the several different ways I will be wearing my ‘candy floss’ jeans this spring (Uniqlo Jeans)

Outfit 1
I would wear this outfit on a Sunday afternoon down the pub! The knitted jumper I’m wearing is from Topshop, you can buy it here (Topshop Jumper).  The silver / grey colour works really well with the pale pink jeans.  I always try to add some 'fur' to my look - it will instantly glam up any outfit!

Outfit 2
This is the more ‘sophisticated’ look out of the three, perfect for a night out with the girls!  Keeping with the ‘pastel colour’ theme I decided to wear this mint coloured blouse from Topshop (Topshop Blouse). Pastel colours work a treat together!  These nude heels from River Island are not the most comfortable but I love them.  They work really well with so many outfits - I have definitely got my money’s worth!  In my eyes...the higher the better...fashion is pain girls!

Outfit 3
For my final outfit I decided to roll up my Jeans, to give a ‘casual’ and more relaxed feel.  The creepers provide comfort, which is perfect for an all day ‘sesh’ up London! I can dance for hours in these shoes!!  I have added a simple white shirt from H+M, and my Topshop leather jacket to finish of the look...Perfect!

Sooo tell me your thoughts? Which is your favourite outfit?

Feel free to email me with your comments - i would love to hear from you all!

'We are Family'

Hi there...

Sooo can you tell we are related!?! Yes you guessed it....they are my sisters!  In fact I have six sisters and one brother! (Please don't feel sorry for my brother!)  People say we are similar, and you can tell we are sisters - but i just can't see it!! You can follow sister 'number 4' here...(FallingForFashion)

You may view having to wear hand me downs, sharing a room, or putting up with a certain level of noise a negative thing,  the truth is there are actually a good number of advantages to having six sisters which 'surpass' these...the biggest one, being the six wardrobes of clothes that come with it! What a perfect way to mix up my ‘look’...to borrow/trade with my sisters! Perfect!

Anyway, I have a big night planned on the 17th – I am heading to a night called NoFitState in East London (residentadvisor) and have already started to plan my outfit....am I really that sad!?  Despite having six sisters, and six wardrobes to rummage through....I can almost guarantee I will be shouting at the top of my voice ‘I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR’.

By the way...this picture was taken in Ibiza last summer....I'm wearing my my favourite 'summer 2011' top which i found on Ebay for like £10...Amazing find!!  (That's me in the centre - red lippy, levi denim shorts ;-) )

**NEW PURCHASE**

It’s the 6th March and I have just made my first purchase of the month…This lovely white, crochet dress from ‘Lipsy’.  Now I would never normally shop in Lipsy, I thought most of the stuff in there was ‘just not me’….Oh how I was proven wrong!  I loved this dress the minute I saw it…I think it was the big, buttoned up collar that did it for me! At £45, I did have to question my decision...but in the end I bought it…obviously!

The only problem I have with this dress is the colour. Look how clean and ‘white’ it looks…I wonder how long that will last after a night out!?

I may have told a white lie…this dress was actually my second purchase of the month. I actually bought this tan bag from Zara at the weekend….I forgot about that one! Woops.

Candy Floss

'

‘Uniqlo’ is by far my favourite place on the high street to buy Jeans, so when I came across these ‘bad boys’ I knew I had to have them.  I heard on the grapevine that ‘pastel colours’ were going to be BIG this spring, and with a price tag of £19.90, what more could you want!? I suggest you all run as quickly as possible to your nearest Uniqlo store and grab a pair! (Or you could just buy them online!)

Anyway...make sure you come back to see how I will be wearing my candy floss jeans!

BERLIN

Disco Pants - American Apparel, Fur Coat - Topshop, Bag - Topshop, Creepers (Footwear)

Relax, I’m here!

I’ve decided to come back....my first EVER post was not too scary after all!

On the 25th Feb it was my birthday...and I turned the ripe old age of 24!! I know deep down this is not old....but I can’t help thinking it is! Seriously...being 16 years old trying to get into bars using my sisters I.D, seems like a distant memory!

Anyway...to celebrate in style I went off to Berlin.  It was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G, and I would highly recommend it to anyone.  After taking in most of Berlin’s history, e.g. The Brandenburg Gate, the remaining stretches of the Berlin wall and the Holocaust museum, we decided to end the day, and start the next in a club!

Fashion is equally important in Berlin, and they are certainly not short on quirky little vintage shops...which I LOVE! So if you ever happen to be in Berlin, you MUST go to ‘Made in Berlin’ ‘OFT’, and ‘Garage’ (where you buy clothes by the kilogram!)

Ready, Set, GO!

Where have you been all my life?

For those who don’t know me, my name is Amy Grace. I’m from Essex.....Yes you heard correctly...ESSEX!!  The stereotypical image of an ‘Essex girl’ would consist of the dumb blonde/bimbo persona, white stiletto heels, silicone enhanced breasts, peroxide blonde hair and an over-indulgent use of fake tan.  Honestly....we are not all like this!

There is a certain thing in life I tend to obsess over...apart from food (of course)....its clothes!!  If I was a multi-millionaire I would shop 24hours a day, 7 days a week.  Unfortunately...I’m not, and have to work my ass off if I want to feed my obsession!

This blog will pretty much be about ‘ME’ (not in a spoilt way!) , my clothes, my style, what I love, what I hate, what I’m doing and where I’m going! I hope you enjoy reading my blog.....and who knows...it could turn out to be something special.

Until we meet again.
